www.pmsclub.blogspot.com (our PMS blog - the newest prayer requests, articles, etc.)
http://www.pmsclub.weebly.com/ (the original website - older stuff & helpful info - useful for new members)
pmsclub@wildblue.net (email address - for prayer requests, comments, questions, article submissions, etc.)
You can also click any link in the body of this email.

Hello, Sisters!
Please make sure pmsclub@wildblue.net is in your address book, and you'll recieve all our prayer requests, newsletters, and announcements (otherwise, they may go to your "junk" box). If you aren't on our mailing list, just reply to this newsletter with "add my name" in the subject line, or leave a comment on either the blog or the website. If you'd rather not receive our messages, send an email or comment with "remove my name" in the subject line.

DON'T NEGLECT THE SISTERHOOD!!!
Uhm, the reason I say that is because I have done this myself. Trying to get back on track, though. I'm trying to find a balance between obsessing and neglecting! When I obsess, I drive you crazy with emails and load up the blog with more reading than anybody wants to do in a given week. When I neglect, you have nothing new to read, and the devil (his minions, rather!) encroaches upon our cyber-space, using our forum for his evil. I do apologize if any of you saw the ugly ads that had been posted on our blog; in fact, I apologize even if you didn't see them. There's a note on the blog about this, and an essay coming up. We must stay vigilant! I'm wondering if any of you visited the blog during the last week or two; I didn't hear from any of you about the evil ads. Please help me to keep our minds and bodies AND website occupied with the things of God, so that there's no time or room for evil to enter.

There are several new posts the last couple of days, and more coming up. . . so, don't forget to visit the blog regularly and stay caught up on PMS news! I'm also still asking - begging, actually - for more participation from all of you! Send anything you think we might like!!!

If you have slow dial-up, and would rather receive all the updates and articles in a single daily or weekly email, you can sign up for free with http://www.feedblitz.com/ or http://www.botablog.com/ (you can also Google more options). They'll send you free email updates of any blog you'd like. I'll still send prayer requests directly to you, unless you request otherwise. Contact me for help with this if you need to.

NEW HABITS FOR MARCH
Body Blessings - Get Plenty of Sleep! (for your health and sanity)
Homework - Get Dressed - Including Shoes! (visit flylady.net for more info)
Truth or Consequences - Be Vigilant! (essay coming later)
Visit http://www.pmsclub.blogspot.com/ to read the post about these habits!
PRAYER REQUESTS
There have been several prayer requests this week; you may have received emails as they were posted.
Anytime you visit the blog, you can scroll down to the Main Menu on the right side of the page, and click "Prayer Requests" to see all posts with this label in one place. That way, you don't have to scroll down the page searching for them. It's a good way to jump-start your prayer time each day!
Please send us your prayer requests, updates on previous requests, or praise reports!
You can email http://www.pmsclub@wildblue.net/ or leave a comment on any post on the blog site.
Prayer requests are posted on the site and forwarded to all PMS Sisters on the day they are received.
PMS PRIZES
Sorry, Girls! We won't be holding any more drawings for a while; thanks so much to all of you who participated in this fun feature. Hope all you prizewinners are enjoying your prizes! If you won a prize, but haven't received it, please email me or comment on the blog. Be looking for more fun stuff in the future!

OUR NEWEST MEMBERS:
We now have 71Sisters (ok, a couple are Brothers!) on our email list!
Welcome and lots of love to our newest members: our dear friend Debbie, and Pam, Debbie's daughter (who is expecting and would love for us all to pray for her and her hubby and baby-boy-on-the-way!), and Stephanie E, who has written an enlightening book about her and her husband's experiences helping a family devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Click the link under Favorite Friends on the blog for lots of interesting insights and ordering information (be sure to check out Stephanie's blog).
10-10-10 CHALLENGE!
We're in Week 6 of our 10-10-10 Challenge for Pure Water, Pure Love. Save 10 dollars a week for 10 weeks!
Recruit 9 friends, family, or church members, and you can raise $1000 for this vital inistry!
We started on Feb. 1, but you can jump in anytime - there's NO DEADLINE!
Visit the blog http://www.pmsclub.blogspot.com/ and click the 10-10-10 link in the right margin for more info.
Idea for the next 10-10-10 Challenge: remember little Emily, who had surgery to break and re-shape her pelvis? He pelvis was twisted and the ball of the ball-and-socket joint on one side was missing. Emily is doing fine, recuperating in a body cast for the next several months. We praise the Lord that she came through her surgery without complications
and pray that the Lord will use this as an opportunity to draw her family members closer to Him.
It's also an opportunity for us PMS Sisters: Emily's parents have no medical insurance. Her dad works with my hubby, Shawn; I'll try to get more info about the costs associated with Emily's surgery and recuperation. In the meantime, let's pray for Emily's quick recovery, her parents' relationships with the Lord, AND about a possible 10-10-10 Challenge to help them offset Emily's medical expenses.
DON'T FORGET:
Send me your comments, questions, stories, links, book recommendations, anything you think we might want to see!
And visit the blog regularly! When you do; leave a comment; we want to know how we're doing!
Don't miss this month's new quote and watch for the daily Bible verses! To receive your own email of the verses, click the Bible verse box on the blog.
Looking forward to hearing from ALL my PMS Sisters!!!

Love you all!
Nancy

Body Blessings: Get some sun, but not too much! All things in moderation!

Truth or Consequences: Just do it (for God)! You can start with 10-10-10 (see below). Essay coming later.

Visit the blog and click these topics in the main menu for more.
NANCY'S NEWSLETTER:
This is just a reminder: Don't forget to visit the blog regulary (every day or two) so you won't get bogged down all at once if there are several additions during the week. A cool thing you can do is go to http://www.feedblitz.com/ and sign up for blog updates on PMS Club and any other blog you like. You set up a free account, then type in or copy and paste the addresses of the sites you like. You can choose to receive updates one-at-a-time as they are added, once-a-day in a "digest" format. I think this is a cool way to keep up without having to go on the internet every single day. I've even set up a folder in my inbox, labeled "blogs", and made a rule (in the tools menu) for all my incoming blog updates to go right into that folder. Then I just look through them whenever I have time. It's really neat, and there are lots of helpful, inspiring, and funny blogs out there. If you want to do this, but need help, just email me!
10-10-10 CHALLENGE!
Week 4 already!!! I would love for more of you to let me know if you're participating, so we can update our totals. If you're not comfortable with your name going on the website, that's ok, just tell me and I'll list you anonymously. Please email or comment on the blog if you're participating!

If you're new and haven't visited the "Ministry Opportunities" page on the website to read about the 10-10-10 Challenge, just go to the blog and click the link in the right-hand margin.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
The following paragraph was in the last newsletter, but still pertains!
There were quite a few prayer requsts sent in last week; they're all posted on the blog. You can click "prayer requests" in the main menu in the right-hand margin to see them all grouped together. If you sent in a request, please leave a comment on your request and update us on the situation. We know that God listens to us, so please be sure to let us know when He does His work! You can also publish any other type of praise reports. Thanks for all the prayers, Sisters, and keep sending in those requests! Either email me or leave a comment on the blog or website to make your request; and don't forget to tell us if it's URGENT and you'd like to get a prayer chain started right away! Otherwise, they'll be mailed out once a day.

NEW REQUEST: Shawn's going to be going to Texas for a construction job. And I thought we got out of all that pipelining business!!! He's excited to be running a job, but the travelling is so stressful, for all involved. Please pray for our family as we deal with this change in our lifestyle!
PRIZES: Remember, Girls, emails and comments will get you entered in our weekly drawings for cool stuff! Drawings every Monday!
Be sure to enter for this week's drawing! Just email or comment! Even if you don't have anything to say, just check in and your name will be added to Monday's drawing!
YAY! NEW SISTERS! That makes 68 of us!!!
Welcome and Love to our 5 new Sisters! Hope you enjoy the PMS Club! We're glad you're here!
PMS STILL WANTS YOU!!! When I started this project, it was in the hopes of creating a "forum" - a place where we all communicate with one another, sharing our needs, ideas, questions, and hints in ANY area relevant to today's Christian women. Please feel free to share with your Sisters. If there's any area that's troubling you - from the trivial to the spiritual - you can talk to us about it. I can guarantee you there's someone who's been through what you're going through, and we're all here to lift up one another - not to disdain or ridicule. Please pray about sharing your testimony, or any other life lessons you've learned. And if you're in the middle of something difficult, let us know. We'll pray for you, and offer advice, if you want it. Remember, Sisters, WE'RE HERE FOR YOU!

What kind of work do you do? Whatever it is, I'll bet you could draw on that for stories or hints to share with us. I know you teachers and mothers have lots of funny rugrat stories! And the rest of you are good at what you do; could you parlay that into a monthly advice column? I'm sure you could! We'd love to have some regular contributors, and ANYBODY is welcome to share ANYTHING, ANYTIME!!!

Send us your hopes, dreams, desires, prayers, stories, recipes, hints, questions, book or magazine recommendations, WHATEVER! We want to hear from you!
Email to this address, or leave a comment on either the website or the blog; they'll be automaticall sent to me!
Love to you all!
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!
Nancy

FEBRUARY'S NEW HABITS
Homework:  Declutter 15 minutes every day!  Flylady's method.

Well, Sisters, my sink is shiny, dishwasher running, washing machine chugging, Noah watching Spongebob.  I'm ready to write.

Let me start with a sincere apology.  I've been in a strange funk lately; I didn't feel like doing anything truly constructive (you should see the house - ugh!), but I was hiding behind the computer playing with newly-found features for automatically forwarding messages and calendar reminders and such.  Thus your cluttered inboxes last week.  I'm sorry about that.  I've also been putting off writing a Truth or Consequences essay for a couple of months now.  I don't know why.  Maybe because the Lord is leading me toward some self-reflection and I'm resisting the changes that would bring.  So no more hiding.  I'm making some rules for myself to limit my computer time to more worthy endeavors; it's a time-management thig.  So, please don't dump us because of all the junk in your inbox.  I promise to mend my ways.

Many thanks to our Northern Light Sister, Amy, for lifting me up with some much-needed support and advice this weekend.  Don't forget to visit Amy's blog regularly; you won't be disappointed!  Visit our blog and look for her link in the right-hand margin under Favorite Friends.  (Her club is called PMS - Praising My Savior (!) and she's in Canada).

OK, here's the new plan:  you'll get prayer requests on the day they're sent (urgent ones will be forwarded as soon as I receive them), and I'll write you a letter and send you to visit the blog once a week or so.  Remember, you can visit the blog anytime!  There's a link above.  For those of you interested in printing a hard copy for off-line friends, just copy and paste from the blog to a document.  If you need help with this, let me know.  That's all I know to do about that for now.  In the meantime, let's all be praying about an actual paper newsletter for would-be Sisters who don't have internet access.  Maybe there's a site somewhere that will let me upload articles, then would print and send copies to subscribers.  This, of course, would probably not be free, so it's something God is going to have to help us with.  Any ideas?

Next item:  HOMEWORK!  You know how much I love Flylady, and how adamantly I want to share her methods.  But guess what!?  I've been so busy copy-and-pasting and forwarding that I wasn't doing any "flying" myself!  I guess I've been force-feeding you all!  So, if you're interested in Flylady, visit flylady.net (click here), and check her out for yourself.  I will say this:  Flylady (Marla) truly understands those of us who are unable to get a handle on the housework, and her methods for coping are truly helpful.  And, she's a Christian!  Her testimonials are really uplifting.  So, if your home is in CHAOS (Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome), go see Flylady!  And let me know if you like it; share your success stories with your Sisters!  Even though I won't be forwarding Flylady stuff, I still want us to share our Homework (housekeeping) hints and tips with one another, so be sure to let us know if you have a troublesome housekeeping problem or handy hints we might like!

Uhm . . . what's next?  Oh, yeah!  10-10-10 CHALLENGE!  We're in week 3 - how's it going???  There's a note on the blog with projected totals.  If you're participating, let me know so we can add you to the list!  I have some really nice newsletters sent to me by our Pure Water, Pure Love Sister, Kristy, - if you'd like some to share with your church, let me know.  I can get some of these larger, pretty ones to you instead of your having to print the smaller versions I sent before.   If you didn't start on Feb 1, that's ok.  You can start anytime - there's no deadline.  For more info, email this address or visit www.pmsclub.blogspot.com (click here) and click the 10-10-10 link.  So far, we expecting at least $1500!  That's a lot, but I know we can do more!  We're really excited about this, so jump right in and let's see what the Sisterhood can do for God's Kingdom!
To our newest Sisters:  Be sure to check this out!  I think you'll like what we're doing!

PRAYER REQUESTS:  There were quite a few prayer requsts sent in last week; they're all posted on the blog.

Oh, I have one for myself:  I think I may have a urinary-tract infection.  Ugh.  Please pray for it to be nothing worse than that and easily resolved!  Thanks!

ROBIN'S NOTES:  Don't forget to read Robin's wonderful essay if you missed it last week.  It's on the main page of the blog.

As you look around the blog, remember you can always click "PMS CLUB" at the top of the screen to return to the main page.  Don't miss my Beans-n-Rice recipe.  It was amazingly yummy to be so easy.  And send me your Quick Cuisine (fast and easy) recipes!

PRIZEWINNER:  This week's prizewinner is Dianna H!  Yay, Dianna!  You've won a set of 6 magnets with all the cute pictures from our website.  I'll get it to you at an associational church meeting.

Remember, Girls, emails and comments will get you entered in our weekly drawings for cool stuff!  Drawings every Monday!

YAY!  NEW SISTERS!  That makes 65 of us!!!
